How Can We Help?
Your own company’s name, logo, contact details, document messages and ship/bill addresses are
set under Administration and Setup → Company Preferences, on the Title and Address
tabs. Press Edit, change, then Save. Other tabs are described in
Company Preferences — field reference.
What, where, who, when, why
| What | The Title and Address tabs of Company Preferences: legal name, logo, phone/web, the ship-to and bill-to addresses printed on documents. |
| Where | Administration and Setup → Company Preferences → Title / Address tabs. Press Edit, change, then Save. |
| Who | An administrator; often delegated to office staff once the logo is settled, since it is low-risk data. |
| When | At initial setup before the first invoice or quote goes out, and whenever the company moves, rebrands, or changes its printed contact details. |
| Why it matters | Every printed and emailed document pulls its letterhead from here — a stale address here appears on every quote, invoice and acknowledgment until fixed. |
Title tab — Details
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Logo (picture) | Double-click the picture while editing to choose an image; it is saved at up to 300 × 300. It prints in the shared company header of reports and documents, and is available to email templates. If a document is printed for an OEM partner, that partner’s logo is used instead. |
| Logo small | Upload a second, small logo. Stored with the title; not printed by the standard layouts. |
| Name | Required. Printed on box labels and customer statements, and available to email templates. |
| Website, Email | Website prints in the shared company header; Email on some quote headers. |
| Message | Starts the subject of every document email: “Message Document type – No. 1234”. Keep it short (for example your company name). |
| Country, State, City, ZIP/PC, County, Address 1–3 | The address printed in document headers. When Verify postal codes is switched on in Company Preferences, the ZIP is checked against the chosen country and state and the County is filled in from it. |
Title tab — Phone & Fax
Phone 1–3 and Fax 1–2, each with a description. Phone and fax print in the shared company
header.
Title tab — Messages 1–6
Six messages, each with a title and text. The standard quote and production-order layouts print
Message 1 and Message 2 (title and text); the verify layout prints Message 1. Messages 3–6
are stored but not printed by the standard layouts. For per-document-type messages and pictures use
Messages & Documents instead.
and manufacturing reports only prints when the Company Preferences setting Show the header report is on.
Address tab
Two fixed addresses: Ship Address and Bill Address. Each has Address 1, Address 2, Country,
State, City, ZIP/PC and County, and all of them are required to save (County is filled from the ZIP when ZIP
verification is on).
| Address | Where it is used |
|---|---|
| Ship Address | Its country picks the country weekend and holiday calendar used by scheduling, purchase-order due dates and the Production Control Board. It is also the ship-to address of pick-up orders when they are scheduled (scheduling stops with “Company Address not found for Type [1]” when it is missing), and is copied onto purchase orders created through the dealer–supplier integration. |
| Bill Address | Copied onto purchase orders created through the dealer–supplier integration. |
