Work down this checklist; the causes are ordered most-common first.

  1. Reference condition mismatch (most common). Does rule 154/155 set a Reference the
target part doesn’t carry? Clear the condition or align the part’s Reference. See the warning
    above.
  2. No pattern. Is a pattern set (rule 144 or 145)? An operation with no pattern is
    dropped during BOM build.
  3. Level mismatch. Does rule 158’s level match the profile you expect the notch on
(frame vs sash vs mullion vs coupler)?
  4. Side mismatch. Does rule 153’s side correspond to where the profile actually sits?
  5. Sequence cutoff. Are the attribute rules at rule ids above the value set by rule
174? If so they were skipped — move them below the cutoff.
  6. Position off the part. For mullion/grid operations the centre must fall within the
profile span; check the X/Y expression and any centre adjustment (rule 152).
  7. Hidden on purpose. Rule 156 machines the operation without drawing it — it will be
on the work order but not the elevation.
  8. Meeting Rail / Astragal frame notch: parent_level ≠ level.
    For a divider-family rule (level 33-39) whose rule 158 targets ifLevel=1 (Frame),
the rule’s parent_level column must equal its level column. See the
callout above — this fails silently, with no error anywhere.
  9. Wrong BOM row checked. Confirm the row’s stockcode is the outer frame member you
expect (profile level 3), not a same-named-looking sash member (profile level 5).
