The Batch List screen opens a selected production batch on its
Content and Plan tabs, among others. This page covers removing and re-adding
orders and items, and what Finalize checks before it lets the batch go through.

Removing an order or an item — Content tab

Selecting an order (or a single item under it) and pressing Remove now un-batches
every row of it that belongs to this batch — including facet-level rows batched
under their own shift, and any row left dangling because its sub-batch no longer exists
— and clears the order’s stock allocations’ batch tag for this batch. Once
nothing of the order is left batched, the order returns to Confirmed automatically.

Why this matters
Before this, a facet-level row (its own shift, or pointing at a deleted sub-batch) could stay
batched after Remove — silently keeping the order out of Confirmed, and its allocations
still tagged to a batch it had supposedly left.

Adding an order back — Plan tab

Use Plan → Add to batch to put a confirmed order back on the batch. Every
not-yet-batched row of the order is added, including facet rows — not only the rows
matching the order’s main shift — so nothing is left behind on re-add.

Finalize checks for missing cut-list allocations

Pressing Finalize now checks, for every part on a non-optimized cut-list station in
the batch, that its stock record has a matching allocation for this batch — the same
check the cut-list build itself relies on. If any part is missing an allocation, Finalize
refuses (nothing is finalized, no purchase orders are created) and opens an
Allocations Missing dialog.

The Allocations Missing dialog

The dialog lists every missing row — order number, item, stock code, part
description and station — and, under How to fix, one block per affected order
with the manual steps:

  1. Batch List → Content tab: select the order and press Remove.
  2. Open the order and revert it to an order (un-confirm it).
  3. Recalculate the order.
  4. Confirm the order again.
  5. Batch List → Plan tab: Add to batch — add it back to this
    batch.
  6. Press Finalize again.

Copy to clipboard copies the listed rows and the steps as plain text —
useful for handing the list to whoever is going to work through it. Close dismisses
the dialog; nothing on the batch is changed by opening or closing it.

There is no automatic fix
Fixing an order is a manual, by-hand process — there is no button that does the six
steps for you. Work through them in order for each affected order, then press
Finalize again.
