“Available reports by station” is the list of reports that show up for an
operator working at a particular station on a particular line. Each entry is the combination
production line + station + report, and each entry can carry a few options:

|---|---|
| Send to printer | The report is sent straight to a printer when the unit/batch reaches this station. |
| Send to file | The report is written to a file (e.g. a machine file or PDF) at this station. |
| Station printer | A specific printer to use at this station, overriding the report’s own default. |
At run time the operator screen (Production Station) shows the reports collected for
the line + station and prints them as units are processed.
Exceptions (suppressing a report)
A report-by-station exception can suppress an otherwise-available report for a
specific line/station — used, for example, so a QC label does not print at a station where it
is not wanted, even though the report is generally available on that line.
Report is available at a station when:
it is assigned to line + station → shows on that line’s station
(or assigned on the parent line’s station)

minus any report-by-station exception for that line/station
↓
operator prints it at the Production Station screen
it is assigned to line + station → shows on that line’s station

minus any report-by-station exception for that line/station

operator prints it at the Production Station screen
