When your company is connected to Odoo, each job is done in one place.
Odoo is the business system (customers, suppliers, buying, stock, shipping, invoices);
OpenJanela designs, prices and builds the windows and doors. This table tells you where to
do each task and whether the data then goes from OpenJanela to Odoo, from Odoo to
OpenJanela, or stays where it is.

Example. A new builder calls for a quote. You add the builder as a customer
in Odoo; a few minutes later it is in OpenJanela. You open a quotation in Odoo, press
Add OpenJanela item and design the window in OpenJanela; the priced line with
its drawing lands on the Odoo quotation. The builder pays a deposit, which you take in
OpenJanela
; it shows in Odoo as a down payment. You confirm in Odoo, build in OpenJanela,
ship and invoice in Odoo.

When does it arrive?

  • OpenJanela → Odoo (quotes, orders, parts, production status, deposits): a few
    seconds after you save, through a queue. If Odoo is down the queue waits and tries again;
    nothing fails in OpenJanela. The administrator sees waiting and failed items on the
    Odoo tab of Company Preferences.
  • Odoo → OpenJanela (customers, suppliers, contacts, addresses, confirmations,
    dates, deliveries): at once when Odoo can reach OpenJanela, otherwise at the next check,
    every 5 minutes.
  • The first time (right after Connect): the administrator runs the Initial
    sync
    , which sends every OpenJanela part to Odoo and brings every Odoo customer and
    supplier into OpenJanela. After that, everything moves on its own.
