Before users start quoting, push one item of every series through the whole flow: quote, price,
confirm, schedule, batch, shop paperwork and a scan at a station. Each step proves a different part of the setup,
and the table below says where to look when one fails.

Before you start

Steps

  1. Quote. Start a quote for the test customer. Check the header: rep, terms, taxes, currency, date
    required.
  2. Item. Add one item of the series. Try each opening type and answer every option. Change the size across
    a matrix band edge.
  3. Price and bill of materials. The price is not 0 and moves when an answer or size changes. Open the bill of
materials: every profile, part and glass you expect is there with the right length, quantity, cost and station.
  4. Print the quote from the Order List with the Print button: your logo, address and messages show.
  5. Confirm the quote into an order and schedule it: production and delivery dates are filled and fall on
    working days.
  6. Batch. Production Management → Create Production Batches: put the order in a batch for its
line. Open the batch from Production Management → Batch List and finalize it (see
    Managing a batch).
  7. Shop paperwork. Each station’s reports print or are written to its folder; optimized stations produce a
    cut list.
  8. Scan. At Production Management → Production Stations View, open a station view and scan a
unit. The Production Status Board moves it on.
  9. Repeat steps 2 to 3 for every series, then clean up: revert or cancel the test order so it does not sit in
    production.

Check it worked

Every series has produced a priced quote with a complete bill of materials, one test order has gone through a batch,
and every station on its route got its paperwork and accepted a scan. The setup is ready for users.
